Kinsey Stone - Author

Kinsey Stone has been an avid reader and passionate writer of non-fiction spanning history, mystery, and historical adventures. Though not a credentialed historian, Kinsey has been enthralled with mysteries  and adventures of the past since her earliest memories.

As a young girl, Kinsey could be found reading books about ancient civilizations, fearless explorers journeying to new frontiers, discoveries  made through archaeology around the world and any kind of mystery. She quickly worked her way through the history and mystery section of her local libraries.

Kinsey was always fascinated by artifacts and sites that provided clues about how people lived long ago. She enjoyed acting as an intrepid detective to solve the mystery. She loved imagining herself alive in ancient times. The thrilling tales of archaeological excavations or travels across the seas fired up her imagination.

This lifelong love of reading and learning led Kinsey to begin writing her own non-fiction works aimed at bringing the past to vivid life for modern readers. Though she does not have an academic background in history, she pours all her enthusiasm into meticulous research and crafting educational yet gripping narratives about the people, places, and events that shaped our world. Kinsey hopes to inspire her readers to explore the world of books and experience the same sense of wonder and adventure that she has since she was a child.

Kinsey graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, is married and currently resides in the Southwest US. When she’s not researching her next book, Kinsey enjoys spending time with her beloved dog and cat. She also remains an eager student of history, consuming books and documentaries to deepen her knowledge. Kinsey loves transporting readers through time and around the globe to unlock history’s most compelling puzzles, controversies, and forgotten treasures.
